In May 2019, The Hairy Bikers and a BBC film crew visited our farm to film a segment for their series on Route 66. In the U.K., The Hairy Bikers are a renowned chef duo known for traveling the world with their cooking show—so famous, even the Queen is a fan! We were truly honored to host them, and their entire crew was an absolute pleasure. They affectionately referred to our farm as “Rod’s Farm.” The duo arrived on their motorcycles and even took a turn learning how to operate our sweet potato transplanter. Later, they whipped up some delicious Sweet Potato Brownies in our kitchen!
